This assistant is for those who wish to:

      • Upgrade a Windows 10 PC to Windows 11.

This time the admin is only discussing 2 options as we see both options as an easy way to download them.

Before you start downloading Windows 11, the first thing to do is check if the following conditions apply to you:

        • Before downloading Windows 11, first check if your PC is licensed for Windows 10
        • Windows 10, version 2004 or higher must be installed on your PC to run the installation wizard.
        • Your PC meets the Windows 11 device specifications for update requirements and supported features. Some features require additional hardware. We also recommend that you visit your PC manufacturer’s website for information on updated drivers and hardware compatibility.
        • Your PC must have 9 GB of free space to download Windows 11

After downloading the installation wizard:

        • Select Run. You need to be an administrator to run this tool.
        • Once the tool confirms the device hardware is compatible, you will be presented with the license terms. Select Accept and Install.
        • Once the tool is ready, click the Restart Now button to complete installation on your computer.
        • It might take some time to install Windows 11, and your PC will restart a few times.  Make sure you don’t turn off your PC.

Create Windows 11 Installation Media

To get started, you will first need a license to install Windows 11 or a Windows 10 device that is eligible to upgrade to Windows 11.

Make sure you have:

      • Internet connection (ISP fees may apply).
      • There is enough space on the computer, USB drive or external drive where you downloaded the .iso file.
      • A blank disc of at least 8GB (and a DVD burner) to create a bootable disc. We recommend using a blank USB stick or DVD, as all its content will be erased during installation.
      • If the message “Disc image file is too large” appears when trying to burn a bootable DVD disc from an ISO file, consider using a higher capacity dual-layer DVD.

Make sure that the PC on which you want to install Windows 11:

      • Has a 64-bit CPU: Windows 11 can only run on 64-bit CPUs. To see if your PC has one, go to Settings > System > About, or search “System Information” in Windows and look under “System Type.”
      • Meet system requirements: Not all devices running Windows 10 are eligible for Windows 11 updates. For update requirements and supported features, see the device specifications for Windows 11. Some features require additional hardware. We also recommend that you visit your PC manufacturer’s website for information on updated drivers and hardware compatibility.
        • WARNING: Installing Windows 11 media on a PC that does not meet the Windows 11 minimum system requirements is not recommended and may cause compatibility issues. If you continue to install Windows 11 on a PC that does not meet the requirements, that PC will no longer be supported and you will no longer be able to receive updates. The manufacturer’s warranty does not cover damage to the PC due to incompatibility.
      • Stick to your current language: you will need to select the same language when installing Windows 11. To see the language you are currently using, go to Time and Language in PC Settings or Region in Control Panel.

Using the Media Creation Tool to create installation media:

      • After downloading the Media Creation Tool, run the Media Creation Tool. You must be an administrator to run this tool.
      • next friend If you agree to the license terms, select Accept.
      • On the page What do you want to do? On the Create installation media for another PC page, select Next.
      • Next, select the appropriate language, edition, and architecture (64-bit) for Windows 11.
      • Select the media you want to use:
        • USB flash drive: Insert an empty USB flash drive with at least 8 GB of storage space. Everything on the flash drive will be erased.
        • ISO file – Save the ISO file to your PC. It can be used to create a bootable DVD. Once the file is downloaded, you can browse to the location where the file is saved or select Open DVD Burner and follow the instructions to burn the file to a DVD.

Before installing Windows 11, you should save all your work and back up your PC before starting. If you downloaded the ISO file for Windows 11 with the Media Creation Tool, be sure to burn it to a DVD before following these steps:

1. Connect the USB stick or insert the DVD into the PC where you want to install Windows 11.
2. Next Restart your PC.
3. On the Install Windows page, choose your language, time, and keyboard settings, and then choose Next.
